More surprises than expected.

Although during our initial condition review we discovered many issues - proceeding through the disassembly process showed multiple hack repairs, hidden bondo, and really pathetic sheet metal body work. Right now i am just happy they did not cut up the radio slot on the dash for an 8 track. Perfect car for a Pro-Touring rebirth.

Over the years there must of been numerous repairs with reckless disregard to quality and i can only suspect parts and panels are patches from scrap metal and wrecked donors - hence Frankenstein.

Dealing with rust.

The car has rust, mostly under the chassis given it was stored in a barn over dirt. The inside does have surface rust. PB Blaster is helpful, using a breaker bar first then impact wrench works, and sometimes the bolts just break or needs to be cut.
